Welcome! My name is Oscar, and I’ve been interested in hair ever since I was young and in my bathtub mixing my mom’s various shampoos together in hopes it would create a magical potion. Hence my brand, MagicOska.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, I’ve also lived in England, Seattle, WA, and now living in Sacramento, CA and working at Cultivate Beauty. Experiencing different cultures and environments has shaped both my perspective and my artistry. Hair became my creative outlet and my way of connecting with people. My experiences have shaped my eye for color, style, and aesthetics, while my interest in the science of hair has given me a strong understanding of how to craft results that are vibrant, healthy, and long lasting. Beside working behind the chair I am also an educator for Innersense Organic Beauty.

Every client who sits in my chair brings a unique personality and vision. I see each appointment as an opportunity to bring that vision to life through a customized cut, color, and style that feels authentic and confident. In addition to working behind the chair, I have spent the past 10 years working with brands to educate fellow stylists, sharing advanced techniques in color, cutting, and business.
